Taiwan media covered that the famous Chinese star Zhao Wei had registered and married with a rich Singapore businessman several month ago, but she denied at that time, pointed out that was the propaganda hype promoted by the film company. However, at the beginning of this month, when she was promoting her new movie 'Mulan' and asked by the reporter that whether she had a marriage partner, she shyly answered 'yes, I have'. These words sparked a high degree of concern to the reporters present, but she denied that news a few days later, claiming that she was still 'Gu Du Qiu Bai (an imaginary figure in Jin Yong's novel, whose family name is Gudu, since he has a high swordplay skill that no one can defeat him, he hopes that he can be defeated one day, he adds his last name 'Qiu Bai' )' , and laid no comment on this.

1、 首先，“台湾媒体”应该是Taiwan's media；

2、 第二，与某人结婚应是marry somebody；

3、 第三，“当时她否认，指……”的译文指代不明，而且并列使用两动词却没有连接词，应为“denied this at that time, pointing out that this was propaganda hype…”；

4、 第四，“被问到是否有结婚对象时”一句应译为“and was asked by a reporter whether she had a marriage partner”；

5、 第五，“记者关注”应译为“interest/excitement among reporters present”；

6、 第六，意译“独孤求败”一词，对“剑艺高超”的译文不地道，应为“he is highly skilled swordplay and no one…”；

7、 最后，“不再评论情事”应译为“made no further comment on this”，lay一般用于lay down the rules。

It is reported by Taiwan media that the famous Chinese actress Zhao Wei, married a Singaporean business tycoon several months ago. She denied the rumor at the moment and referred to it as pure hype by the company to promote a newly released movie. However, early this month, when she was promoting the movie Hua Mulan in Mainland China and was asked if she had a boyfriend, she produced a shy response, 'Yes, I have.' Her remarks soon drew huge attention from the reporters present. A few days afterwards, she kept denying that she was in a relationship, claiming that romantically speaking she was 'Dugu Qiubai' (It is a fictional character appearing in three martial arts novels by the best-selling Chinese novelist Jin Yong. He is an invincible swordsman haunted by solitude as no one can defeat or equal him in swordplay. Here it probably means Ms. Zhao has been alone for long and is aspiring to start a romantic relationship), and refused to make any more comments on the issue.

1、 这篇译文不错，但是有个别措词需要注意。

2、 同上篇一样注意“台湾媒体”的翻译。

3、  “当时”应为“at that moment”；

4、  “结婚对象”应为“a marriage partner”；

5、  “for long”指代不明确，应为“for a long time”。

As reported by one of the media in Taiwan, Zhao Wei, an actress in China mainland, was said to register for marriage with one of the Singaporean merchant princes several months ago. She denied that 'rumor' at that time, claiming that the distribution company of the film Mulan hyped that for promoting the film. However, earlier this month, when she was promoting the film Mulan, she was asked whether she had a husband candidate, 'Yes, I have already had one', she replied shyly. Her remarks attracted much attention from the reporters on the spot. Several days later, she denied hurriedly that she had a new boyfriend, and said that she would not talk about love because she was still alone just like the legendary character Dugu Qiubai in Lious Cha's novels. 2、“大陆影星”应译为“an actress from mainland of China”；

3、“与……结婚”应为“a marriage to one of the Singaporean merchant princes”；

4、“为了宣传炒作”应为“to promote”；

5、a husband candidate不错，但是不够地道，建议改为“a marriage partner”；

6、“连忙否认”应为“quickly denied”。
